Kalel Mullings says Ohio State needs to ‘learn how to lose’ after Michigan game ends in brawl

Kalel Mullings could do nothing but shake his head after a Michigan win turned sour at Buckeye Stadium on Saturday.

After a 13-10 Michigan victory over No. 2 Ohio State, a massive fight broke out in midfield between both teams. According to the broadcast, Michigan players attempted to plant a UM flag at midfield — similar to what Baker Mayfield did with Oklahoma years ago — and Ohio State players took exception.

After the players were separated and sent to their respective locker rooms, Mullings met with the FOX broadcast crew for a typical postgame interview.

“For such a good game, you hate to see things like that after the game,” Mullings said. “It’s just bad for the sport, bad for college football, but at the end of the day they have to learn to lose. You can’t fight and stuff just because you lost a game.

“We’ve got 60 minutes (and) 4 quarters to fight and now people want to talk and fight? It’s wrong. It’s just bad for the game. Classless, in my opinion. People need to be better.”

Mullings ran for 116 yards and a touchdown. His third decline late in the game set up the game-winning field goal attempt.

Michigan picked up its fourth straight win over Ohio State with the win.
