Kate Hudson had a picturesque Thanksgiving in New York City this year, complete with friends, family and fall foliage.

The Almost famous star, 45, shared a carousel of photos and a video from the vacation Instagram Friday 29 Nov.

The photos include Hudson walking the rainy streets of NYC with her daughter, Rani, 6 — which she shares with fiance Danny Fujikawa38 — as well as a gorgeous table setting for Thanksgiving dinner, a full charcuterie spread and a window view of orange and yellow leaves.

“A beautiful rainy love filled NYC Thanksgiving ,” the actress, musician and Fabletics co-founder captioned her post.

Hudson previously shared a collection of NYC photos on Nov. 18. The snap showed Rani and sons Ryder, 20, and Bingham, 13 — which she shares with ex Chris Robinson and Matt Bellamy respectively — walk the city streets. Her caption simply read, “A minute in New York .”

When talking to PEOPLE about co-parenting with their ex in May, Hudson said they are “very connected” and “very close.”

“Love can change shape. It’s interesting when you have that modern family; there’s so much love for all the kids,” she explained. “I think what’s so unique about my life is that in this patchwork family, we have everyone figured it out.”

“The kids feel like they have this huge family,” Hudson added. “There’s something that’s been able to be nurtured in our family that, personally, is what I think is, it’s very rare.”
