22-year-old Indian student from Telangana shot dead by robbers at gas station in Chicago

Chicago: A shocking incident has come to light from Chicago in the US when an Indian student was shot dead by assailants at a gas station where he worked as a part-time employee. The victim has been identified as Nukarapu Sai Teja who was a resident of Khammam and had arrived in the US to pursue MBA.

The incident is said to have occurred on Friday (November 29) when he was working at the gas station’s cash desk. However, according to PTI reports, Sai Teja was not working at the station at the time of the incident, but was helping his friend who had asked him to stay till late on the day of the incident. His friend was not present at the incident, but had gone out to work.

The assailants allegedly fired at Sai during their attempt to rob the cash desk at the gas station. Sai Teja (22) is said to have died on the spot after being shot. There were around two perpetrators involved in the attack. However, it is not confirmed yet. The police have launched an investigation into the case and are looking for the perpetrators who were involved in the attack.

Sai Teja belonged to Ramanagutta located in Telangana’s Khammam. He had completed his BBA in Khammam and had gone to the US to pursue his MBA. He worked part-time at the gas station.

In another incident that occurred about a week ago, another Indian student belonging to Telangana died accidentally in a gun misfire that occurred on the day of his birthday. The student identified as Aryan Reddy (23) died after he accidentally misfired his gun in Atlanta. Georgia.

Aryan Reddy was a resident of Uppal in Telangana and was pursuing his Master’s degree at Georgia State University. Many incidents of students losing their lives in gun fires have occurred in the US in recent times and people are expressing concern about the gun culture in the country.
