Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou: “It was an honor to meet Ranieri.”

Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou did not hide his respect for Claudio Ranieri.

After last night’s 2-2 draw between Tottenham and Roma, the Australian coach paid tribute to the veteran coach.

“There is frustration and disappointment because we conceded the 2-2 goal in extra time,” Postecoglou said in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.

– We had many chances to score and win. It was an exciting match, we have to be satisfied with this score.”

Of Ranieri, he said: “I’m honored to have met him. His passion for the game is amazing. I think he liked the game.”

“Kulusevski? He wants to improve in all aspects. He can score more goals and he is working on this fundamental.”

“Today he did a lot for us, the whole team worked hard. We should have taken advantage of the opportunities and taken home the victory.”
